Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

Where can I rent or buy forklifts in Singapore?

LB Industrial Technology Pte Ltd offers forklift sales, rental, and servicing from our Tuas Avenue 3 centre in Singapore. Our range covers electric reach trucks and 2.5–7 tonne electric or diesel forklifts — available for outright purchase, long-term rental, or short-term hire. Most enquiries get a same-business-day response, and rental units come with bi-monthly inspections and same-day breakdown support.

What forklift brands do you sell and service — Toyota, Mitsubishi, Heli, JAC?

We sell and service Toyota, Mitsubishi, Heli, JAC, Crown, Hyster, TCM, and Goodsense forklifts. Our workshop handles engine and transmission overhauls, parts sourcing, and routine maintenance across both electric and diesel models. Every safety installation — reverse alarms, blue spot lights, seatbelts, speed limiters, and blind-spot mirrors — is fitted to align with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health regulations. Common spare parts are stocked locally, which keeps downtime to a minimum.

Can you fabricate custom steel parts, modifications, or retrofits?

Yes — custom steel fabrication is a core service. From our Pioneer Road North workshop in Singapore, we handle structural modifications, equipment retrofits, prototyping, full manufacturing runs, and industrial fittings. The team is equipped for CAD drafting, 3D modelling, reverse engineering, and on-site survey through fabrication and reinstall. For larger or more complex projects, we also work with a trusted network of partners to bring in additional capacity and specialised expertise.

Do you handle specialised forklifts like dry-dock carriers and fork rotators for drums?

Yes. We've built and modified specialised units for marine yards and process facilities in Singapore — including low-profile dry-dock carriers for shipyard use and fork rotators for safe drum handling. These are built to specification on top of standard 3–7 tonne forklift chassis from Toyota, Mitsubishi, Heli, or JAC, depending on the application.

Can you reverse-engineer obsolete or out-of-production parts from a sample?

Yes. Bring us a worn sample, an engineering drawing, or even a photograph and we'll reproduce the part using CAD modelling and our in-house manufacturing line. This is a common request from marine yards, food-production facilities, and older industrial plants whose original supplier no longer exists. Typical turnaround is 1–3 weeks depending on complexity.

Where are your workshops located in Singapore?

We operate two locations in western Singapore. Our forklift centre is at The Index, 110 Tuas Avenue 3, #03-04, Singapore 637369 — handling sales, rental, and service. Our fabrication workshop is at 15 Pioneer Road North, #01-79, Singapore 628464 — handling all custom steelwork. Both are open for site visits by appointment, Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm SGT.

What's included in your bi-monthly forklift inspection and maintenance?

Each bi-monthly visit covers hydraulics, mast and chains, brakes, tyres, fluid levels, battery condition (for electric units), and engine diagnostics (for diesel). We clean and lubricate moving parts, replace consumables on schedule, and flag wear before it causes downtime. A written inspection report is provided after every visit.
